Pryn Alexander was born and raised in the southern England town of Portsmouth in Hampshire. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Graphic Design from Goldsmiths’ in London. She began her post undergraduate studies at the Royal College of Art and received her Masters of Fine Art in painting from Yale University.
Pryn's work has been referred to (by some) as "beautiful smut" and "hipster porn". She is excited to see what other creative and imaginative things people will write to describe her work.
Her fine art is represented by ADQT Gallery in New York, and she is available commercially through ADQT Commercial Arts. She maintains a studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
